OCDIAS aims to share relevant academic research papers as well as to keep building a comprehensive database and research hub regarding past and current Austronesian studies.

To date, our resources include dictionary development (e.g. Bara Dictionary), journal articles, conference papers, MA dissertations, specialized grammar studies (Vezo, Antembahoaka), discourse studies (Masikoro, Tsimihety), theological and translation studies and a PhD on the language ecology of Southern Madagascar.

Due to the recent COVID restrictions, plans for our ‘in-person’ conferences, workshops and presentations have been on hold. We will post updates regarding conference information.
